Julie Stone D.P.D.

Julie Stone has been in business for herself for 19 years and has been making dentures for 24 years. Her business started in Salt Lake City, UT where she owned, with her husband Jeff, a Dental Laboratory. In 1994 they passed the Law in Washington State, Initiative 607, which made it possible to become a Denturist. Julie then passed her Washington Standard Examination and in 1996 she became a Licensed Denturist.

A Denturist is trained in the construction of dentures and partial dentures. They are also educated in microbiology, physiology, oral pathology, and head and neck anatomy.

Denturists are an important part of the community of dental care providers.
